FAQ
1. How do I place an order?
It's quite simple, you add the products to the cart and then check out.
We offer free delivery once you meet the minimum (depending on your region). If for some reason, you can't check out then you can just e-mail us at hello@bbsashimi.com and we will figure it out for you. We ship everywhere in the states but shipping rate is different between states.
2. When will I get my order?
If you're in NJ, NY and CT then you will likely get your order on Friday to Sunday. You can e-mail us to schedule a specific day otherwise it will be scheduled according to our logistic team.
If it's shipping then it's next day delivery, processing time will be around 3-5 days depending on the product availability. Since sea urchin is a delicacy, we might not always have it in stock and we will ship it out once it's a complete order.
3. What is the cut-off time for same week delivery?
Wednesday will be the cut-off time, you can e-mail us at hello@bbsashimi.com and we will try our best to accommodate if it's after Wednesday.
4. What is the shelf-life for the products?
Sea Urchin is sensitive, we would highly recommend to consume them right away or within 4 business days. Just a general rule of thumb - eat it as fresh as possible. Most of our products can sit in the freezer for a few weeks.
5. Where do you ship?
We ship to all 50 states (including Hawaii and Alaska) and offer local delivery in NY, NJ and CT.
6. Can I eat the fish as sashimi?
Absolutely, all of our products are sashimi grading.
8. Do you offer wholesale?
Yes we do! We do wholesale for restaurants and other distributors as well!
9. What happens if UPS/FEDEX delays my package or it arrives damaged?
We never ship on Fridays because of that reason, UPS/FEDEX tends to delay packages that are shipped on Friday even though it is for next day delivery. We understand the frustration if the products comes damaged (ex: spoiled) due to the mishandling process from Fedex/Others, we will work together with you to file a claim.
